The Courage Knife – A Hard-Hitting Workhorse for the Outdoors
The Courage Knife is the second blade in the Mountainside Mettle Series, built for those who prefer a larger, heavy-duty tool. Designed for chopping, batoning, and rugged outdoor work, it’s made to take a beating while staying versatile enough for precision tasks.
Powerful, Durable, and Versatile
With a 6.5-inch 1095 high carbon steel blade, the Courage delivers strength and reliability, capable of handling heavy-duty jobs while still providing the precision needed for finer tasks. Its Sabre grind, 90-degree spine, and full tang construction ensure durability and cutting power, while the flint-striking capability adds survival functionality.
Expert-Driven Design
Developed by Jason Breeden, an experienced knife designer with decades in the industry, alongside Jason Marsteiner and other instructors from The Survival University, the Courage Knife is a true workhorse. Built for serious outdoor professionals and adventurers, this blade combines power, balance, and control to handle the toughest conditions.
Ergonomic Grip & Rugged Sheath
Unlike many large knives that feel cumbersome in the hand, the Courage is designed for hard use without sacrificing comfort. The ergonomic handle provides a secure grip for chopping and hammer-fist techniques, while the pommel scraper adds another functional edge for fire preparation.
Manufactured by Condor Knife and Tool Company, it comes with a Black Kydex & Cordura ambidextrous sheath, featuring two expandable Ferro rod holders (fits 3/8” to 1/2” rods). Built with customization in mind, the sheath allows for modifications to match your carry preferences.
The Courage Knife is made for those who demand power, precision, and durability in the field.
