Shipping Policy
Thank you for visiting and shopping at SurvivalGear.us! Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.
Shipment processing time
Most orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Orders are not shipped nor delivered on Saturdays, Sundays or Federal holidays.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If a significant delay in shipment is expected, then we will contact you via the information you provide at checkout.
Overnight delivery is only available for orders with delivery addresses within the continental United States. Overnight delivery orders must be placed by 9 am the day prior to your requested delivery date. This allows enough time for your order to be processed, packaged, and sent to the carrier. Once an order has been delivered to the carrier for overnight shipping it is then the responsibility of the carrier to deliver your order promptly. Survival Gear BSO cannot control the speed at which the carrier operates. Please contact the carrier for further information on your overnight shipment should it not arrive in a timely fashion.
Delivery delays can occasionally occur, so be sure to check your tracking number to get the latest information on where your package is. Please do not contact us for an update on your package. We do not have any further information than the tracking information that you have access to. However, the carrier (usually USPS) typically has more in-depth information. Contacting your local post office, UPS office, or FedEx office is the most efficient way to gain more information on the whereabouts of your package.
If the carrier has stated that your package is missing please contact us for your options regarding Order Protection if you have added that option during your purchase.
Christmas Shipping: The absolute latest date to place an order with us for Christmas arrival is eight (8) days before Christmas (considering that the US Postal Service, UPS, and FedEx are running on schedule that time of the year). Please take into consideration that Sundays are not functional federal working days for USPS. Therefor, the eight (8) day buffer period is exclusionary of Sundays.
Shipment to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses
Survival Gear BSO ships to addresses within the U.S., U.S. Territories, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses.
Shipment confirmation & Order tracking
The purchaser will receive a Shipment Confirmation via email once the order has been packaged and labeled. This Shipment Confirmation will contain your tracking number(s). Information on the tracking number will be available once the carrier has processed the package into their system. Please do not email or call us looking for your tracking information. We will not respond to any messages of the sort.
Free Shipping Policy
All orders that qualify for free shipping will be shipped at the standard rate. If you wish to receive your products in an expedited fashion you may pay the fee for Priority or Priority Express/Overnight shipping.
Shipping Charges
Our cart system calculates shipping charges based on the estimated weight of items purchased, and the destination of the package. ALL packages are sent with "no signature required”. If you want your package to have a "signature required" please contact our customer service line at 412.523.1010 Monday through Friday 9 am to 5 pm EST to place your order.
Domestic orders over $150.00 USD may qualify for free shipping.
Customs, Duties and Taxes
Survival Gear BSO is not responsible for any customs or taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after the shipment date are the customer's responsibility (tariffs, taxes, etc.).
Non-Delivered Items
If your tracking information states that your package has been delivered, but you have not received the package, please contact the shipping carrier that you selected upon checkout. You will have received your tracking number via email once your order was confirmed, which will have your carrier information in it. Please DO NOT contact Survival Gear BSO. Once your package has been shipped we have no control over the package and we cannot provide any further information than what the tracking information provides for you within the automated confirmation email that Survival Gear sends to each customer. Please contact your local Post Office, UPS office, or FedEx office, respective to your shipping carrier.
Order Protection is automatically added to the cart for each customer. This ensures that your package is fully insurable and qualifies for re-shipment of those products (provided the exact products are in stock) 100% free of charge. If the customer chooses to remove the Order Protection from their cart, then the package is not covered and therefore does not qualify for re-shipment or refund of any measure. We HIGHLY recommend leaving your Order Protection coverage in your order. If you wish to file a claim with the carrier of your package please contact that carrier. Survival Gear BSO will not contact the carrier on your behalf.
Returned Packages
If your order is returned to us due to inaccurate shipping details that you provided upon checkout, then the shipping fees to re-ship the package(s) to the customer shall be the sole responsibility of the customer. Package(s) will not be re-shipped without the re-shipping fees being paid in full by the customer before shipping. This includes any order that qualifies for free shipping - your initial free shipping will be honored, but in the event that the order needs to be re-shipped, the second shipping fee shall be the sole responsibility of the customer. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Freight Charges (if applicable)
If your order is large enough that it requires freight services, it will not qualify for free shipping. Purchasers are responsible for all fees associated with freight including insurance. If orders are large enough to require additional storage facilities before shipment (with insurance for the aforementioned included), then the purchaser will be responsible for associated fees. If you have a freight company that you prefer to handle your order, please reference this in your order and communicate before payment processing to ensure you will be correctly quoted and avoid delivery delays. Our team will do all they can to coordinate the logistics of your freight requirements but we cannot guarantee on utilizing specific carriers until review of services and fees. Orders requiring freight services are non-refundable as they fall under custom and/or bulk order policies.
Damages
Survival Gear BSO is not liable for any products damaged during the shipping process, nor is Survival Gear BSO responsible for lost or stolen items once the shipment leaves our facility. If you have received a damaged package please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim as we have no control over those processes.
Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim as your claim may request images of those items during their investigation. Pictures of the damages are often requested by the shipping carriers.
International Shipping Policy
Please contact us via email at survivalgearbso@gmail.com to request shipping outside of North America. All order requests for customers residing outside of North America are handled on an individual basis and do have the possibility of being denied. Survival Gear BSO is able to accommodate most customer requests.
All international orders are priced on an individual basis. Please contact us and our team will do its very best to find you the most affordable shipping to your area of the world.
