Valentine’s Day Guide: Nothing Says Love Like Wanting Her to Live

Valentine’s Day Guide: Nothing Says Love Like Wanting Her to Live
As Valentine's Day approaches, it's a time when love and affection take center stage. But amidst the roses and chocolates, there's another kind of love worth celebrating—the love of wanting the best for your partner no matter what the world sends your way. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for romantic dinners beside roaring fireplaces, and weekend getaways to the mountains or the beach. No matter where the rose-pedaled road takes you both (it’s more like pine-needled roads here in PA), rest assured that we’ve got something perfect for that special someone on your calendar for this February 14th (incase all you guys out there don’t know when Valentine’s Day actually is).
I don’t know about you ladies & gents, but when it comes to Valentine’s Day each year we all know that this holiday is geared towards catering to the ladies, and rightfully so. Whether it be in the workplace or at home, the ladies in our lives work hard day in and day out, and they deserve to be recognized for how much they mean to us. My better half flat out said to me, “You’re the man, and you need to make sure that I’m safe and prepared should anything happen.” I can’t argue with that! She takes care of me and I take care of her no matter what. Bills paid and food on the table aside, I make sure that she’s got everything she needs should the unexpected become a reality. This February 14th I’ll make sure that she is the one treated to a nice home-cooked (DoorDash) meal.
We’ve got a couple of suggestions for anyone looking for a few gift ideas this year. No matter if you’re buying for a man or a woman, these items are geared towards everyone. So, buy the chocolates, buy the red roses, and make the dinner reservations because we’ve got the peace of mind part covered for that person who makes your britches tingle!
Just this past summer the two of us ventured on a 2-week trip filled with hiking cliff sides and forests for hours on end, so managing hydration was at the top of our list. She carried the Grayl GeoPress and I carried the Grayl UltraPress. The GeoPress in new Wanderer Red, and the UltraPress in Midnight Granite have been topping the H2O list for the outdoor crowd. Having access to clean drinking water is paramount no matter where in the world you might find yourself. With their cutting-edge filtration technology, these bottles can turn even the murkiest water into pure, drinkable refreshment within seconds. Whether you're exploring the great outdoors or preparing for an emergency, the 24oz. Grayl GeoPress and the 16.9oz. Grayl UltraPress ensure you never have to compromise on hydration, making them essential companions for anyone. If you really want to show your Apocalypse Partner how much they mean to you, then spring for the new Grayl 16.9oz. UltraPress Titanium with its sleek exterior topographic decals.
Not sure how to get your significant other into the preparedness scene? Or, maybe they’re just over you jabbering their ear off about it? If prepping, survival or even camping just isn’t their scene, or even if it is, try spicing up the idea a bit with the book Three Days to Eden. Although this book is fiction, it has been written about real world scenarios with a high probability of coming true (it’s already happening), the use of practical survival strategies, and the best part is that the male and female main characters of the book are actually real people!
Father, family man, and author Pete Robertucci takes you into a post-apocalyptic world - the book follows protagonist Jack Nolan and his daughter, Laykin, as they navigate the challenges of a society on the brink of collapse. Through their  journey, readers gain invaluable insights into survival skills, resourcefulness, and the resilience of the human spirit. Three Days to Eden is more than just a thrilling tale about a family—it's a guidebook with a riveting story.
*NOTE: We are fortunate enough to know this author personally, so he signed the first 100 books in our order. Get the signed copies while you can, and don’t miss the chance to meet the real life characters of this book at Mountain Readiness in Harmony, NC the first weekend in May this year while connecting with experts in the field of preparedness! (More details and links on the Three Days to Eden landing page.)
